Approval Hub — Resend Email
Use “Resend” when a renewal is Pending Approval and the current approver needs the email again.

When the Resend Button Appears
  • The renewal status must be Pending Approval.
  • If Tech is not approved yet → Resend goes to the Technical Owner.
  • If Tech is approved but Budget is not approved → Resend goes to the Budget Owner.
  • If both are approved (or status is not Pending Approval) → Resend shows as disabled/“—”.

Steps to Resend
  1. Go to Approval Hub.
  2. Find the renewal in Pending Approval.
  3. Click Resend.
  4. Confirm the toast message indicates whether it was resent to:
    • Tech approver, or
    • Budget approver
If Resend fails: Confirm the approver email is populated on the renewal (Ownership section) and that SMTP settings are valid.

Recommended Internal Controls
  • Only resend after confirming the approver hasn’t already acted.
  • Avoid repeated resends (spam risk). Prefer a quick Slack/Teams ping first.
  • If the renewal was edited significantly, consider restarting the workflow (per your internal policy).
